Just got back from Aldi with Coquil St. Jaques and a whole de boned stuffed duck, total price.....£12 and a bit !
Decided to eat them in the M.H. With some Fizz. So just booked a couple of days at Southport C.C. Site at the end of the month and do some Christmas shopping on Lord Street !
Any one else going to be there?????.

Sounds very nice, but try beating wild rock oysters found by me on the loire atlantique coast washed down with Muscadet sitting on the beach. ( back in September)
They tell me Southport area is nice ?

Oysters !!!! Yuk ! It's like eating and worse, swallowing metallic snot !
Much prefer Mussels !

And yes, Southport is nice, genteel and refined, just like Benidorm !

That reminds me of being in France a few years ago and trying to order Oysters at a market when my 8 year old granddaughter said in a very load voice "err they look like snot" just as the market trader turned to me and said in perfect English "how many would you like sir"
