Going back to uk next week anybody got advice on where to get the antigen test we need near calais. Want somewhere accessible to Motorhome. Stupidly we are travelling on tunnel Tuesday so will have to get done Monday. Presume results pretty quick? Any advice appreciated
Thanks shirley

It seems French chemist are doing them for 25 Euro.
Find your nearest one early tomorrow?

Just arrived in France.Beware A2 closed at the end of the M2 diversion will cost you an extra half hour to Dover The new DFDS ferry was lovely and only 16 vehicles in the car lane for the 12.25 crossing

Yes gather we can get done in chemist just wondered if anybody had experience since hubby doesn’t walk too far and hoping to find an “easy accessible “ place. Could get done Saturday in saumur as we are by the town there but that may be pushing the 72 hour limit I guess for a Tuesday morning train.

Choose an out of town one from the link I gave and 'drive' to and around it using Google Maps Street View.......

Did you book the chemist in Gravelines or did you just turn up. Just interested to know as we will probably be doing the same in a few weeks time.

We just turned up. Had to wait ten mins for a staff member to be available, but done and had a certificate in hand 15 mins later.

BTW there are 4 pharmacies in Gravelines, all can do the test AFAIK

All the Ferries are low volumes of tourist vehicles, tunnel is down to around 20% of norms.
Interesting article recently that Spanish bookings are close to norms, slack being taken up from Germany etc. As the Polish economy grows due to massive investment, my gut feeling tells me the Brits eventually will become a minority visitor.
Possibly a strategy and quite logical

That’s good news for us as well as we tend to spend night in Gravelines before tunnel next morning! Had great meal at restaurant by Aire with views up estuary 😊Hopefully travelling over next Thursday although not booked tunnel(gone up a lot) yet.

That restaurant wasn't open on Monday the 30th and seems its only open a couple of days a week - best google it of you are counting on it for food.

The short (footpath over the lock) bridge is also closed for works so if you need Aldi or McD's you'll need to drive there (at least its too far for us to walk LOL).

You can make a reservation online from the link above and they are open.

Monday seems to be a common day for restaurants to close. Probably need a day off after a busy weekend.
It is a great end to a holiday though. We try to go on our last evening each time we stay at Gravelines.
