Test drive

Going to have a test drive of a autotrail Apache,never driven a Moho before so I’d be interested in any advice

Oooo - exciting. First time I tried to drive a motorhome, I struggled with the overhang at the back until I got used to it. Just take it slow. Good luck

Remember the length of the vehicle from the rear axle to the back (overhang) means that the back will swing in the opposite direction to travel when going round corners or manoeuvring.

As others have stated,take it slow and watch out for the overhang.
Because it’s now been highlighted you will find you really look in your mirrors when turning.
At first you probably will over compensate for the length and width but it quickly settles down.

Overhang takes a bit of getting used to.

Use your mirrors a lot.

Try to just keep driving forward, reversing comes later

If you are going to do a damp check while on a test drive, make sure you engage cruise control before leaving the driving seat.
