My husband and I both have Tesco vouchers . Does anyone know if we can combine them to get tunnel vouchers . I can’t see how it works so any help would be welcome

Yes you can combine them ,you have to check on the Tesco clubcard website. We did it few years ago ,think we had to get new card numbers, which are the same for each person and then have the vouchers transferred over from each existing card.

Thanks Jimbohorlicks - I called them and they sorted it

Keep seeing about Tesco vouchers/tunnel but how does it work.We go to France every year and use the tunnel😊We switched to Tesco for our main shop when we moved as it’s the nearest. When we get Tesco vouchers as we have today(only £18) I normally get that amount knocked off the next shop! What are they worth towards tunnel crossing and how do I go about putting them towards crossing? Is it worth it?

You get 3 times the value of your vouchers if your trade them against a tunnel crossing, i.e your £18 is worth £54.

You just need to convert the Tesco vouchers to a tunnel travel voucher on the Tesco clubcard website, you then get a voucher number and use that against the cost of the tunnel ticket. You need to do it from within the UK you can't do it from France for a return ticket for example but if you have enough vouchers you can use them for outward and return tickets booked at the same time. Can't be used against pet travel (y)

Thats a good idea👍 Ive missed a trick with that. Spend everything on the credit card and pay it off every month.
That’s what we do, paid for the Brittany ferry crossing and even a car using the Tesco card,

We tend to travel on Brittany ferries but use our Tescos vouchers triple up for other things like Rail cards or RAC for the childrens’ car. There’s always something that’s really good value on the triple up.

That’s what Nick does, unfortunately Tesco doesn’t like me for a CC!
Being serious, you should find out why. You never know when a poor credit rating can come back and bite you.

Tesco credit cards used correctly are a complete no brainer , whether you shop at Tesco or not, you get points off everything you spend not only at Tesco, road tax, insurance, diesel all sorts of things, not much I know but it adds up over the year.
We now use ours for everything and before we were grounded had at least one return trip for free.
And if payed off on time all this is completely free, you can shop where you like and still get Tesco points.
Complete win win.

We also use our 'curve' debit card here in Spain which is linked to our Tesco credit card at home. There is a £500 foreign exchange monthly limit before charges are added but it all helps.
