Adria Twin 640 SGX

If you’ve got a PVC with full width bed at the back, do you have any clever ideas for adding somewhere to put your mugs safely while drinking tea in bed?

Our Adria Twin is the one with the raising bed. Don’t really want to add anything damaging to the interior, so maybe there’s something that hooks onto a cubbyhole or something?

image.jpg I have a drop down bed,, so I designed my bedside table specifically to take a mug of tea, remote control, and plate for biscuits, if required!!

No space for that sadly :) Our bed fills all of the back...

I give it to her to hold.

For anyone else in an Adria 640 SGX, I found this. It will go over the bits of bed / cushion that are not part of the raising bed, if you see what I mean.

If you are happy to fix something to a wall then these are what we use - folding stainless steel cup holders. You can find them on Amazon.

That looks good - do you have a link?
This is an eBay link - I paid a little more using Amazon and you can find them up to £25 at chandlers. Not sure if they are all genuine though - there could be cheap copies around. :)

I have fitted the black plastic version of the stainless steel ones- again from eBay. They supplement the two already fitted to my Westfalia James Cook. As they are lighter they are secured to the wall with strong vhb double sided tape- so no need to drill the wall. Been there for some time now and no sign of them pulling away.

Hi as you know I picked up my van, same as yours but the plus

I opened the locker above me and popped my tea up there....

Useful thread I’ll look to invest in the slot between the cushions styled one if a small tray doesn’t pass the test

Hi Alfie, ours is the SGX with the drop down bed - is yours that one? Cos I don’t think we have lockers above us, because the bed goes there. Just to the side.

My current thought is to get one of those sofa arm tray things

to go over the cushion at the side of the raising part of the bed, and then put one of these on It.

How much!!! I like my tea in bed but not at that price ... :D

Mines not the bed that can be raised, it’s the twin beds with ability to make up to a double and if needed raise to create walk through

Therefor overhead lockers.
