Hi

Just wondered if Switzerland is dog friendly and any problems that I should be aware of from crossing through ie at the boarder? Question really is about them not being in the EU and don’t want to have to put a mussel on my dog, do I need any additional paperwork for the dog to travel into Switzerland

Although Switzerland is not in the EU very many procedures are aligned with it - pets are one of those things so forget about it. Never heard about requiring muzzles but even in countries specifically requiring them nobody has bothered us. Although a Westie is a bit different to a Doberman of course............

Austria are quite hot on dogs being muzzled on public transport, but Switzerland same as rest of Europe
