Being nosey in Brownhills the salesman explained this Swift motorhome is aimed at the motor racing and equestrian market.

It’s 4x4 then, can’t see the point in that but I like the idea of Iveco 3.0 same engine as Fiat great lump but not sure about the Swift bitBrownhills is the only dealer who supply that particular motorhome. I like it. Had a good look around one a month or so ago, perm 4 wheel drive, full air suspension, on board generator, gas tank etc etc.
I think it's 6x4 as in 4 driven wheels on the rear axle just like any other IVECO daily based motorhome. It’s 4x4 then, can’t see the point in that but I like the idea of Iveco 3.0 same engine as Fiat great lump but not sure about the Swift bit
Yes Martin I thought 4x4 meant all four corners drive but now it could be twin rear wheels that we used to know as RWD, I have not seen this van in the flesh.I think it's 6x4 as in 4 driven wheels on the rear axle just like any other IVECO daily based motorhome.

NopeHas swift got the right brand image and quality to charge that amount of money for a product.
Shetlands!!!!!!!!!? or maybe some confusion between equestrian and bull*****tEquestrian use? the doors to narrow to get a horse through
Has swift got the right brand image and quality to charge that amount of money for a product.
How Much! No wonder I always buy my Hymers in Belgium.Hymer BMCi550 at Peterborough for £100k including about £7k of extras
Another fan of a fine marqueI wouldn't even buy a golf ball if it had Swift written on the shell!!
Another fan of a fine marque
And so would we if were to buy one but it’s still a better bet than that Swift. How Much! No wonder I always buy my Hymers in Belgium.
The Fiat one was parked behind it in Brownhills and a similar priceThe photograph and the spec sheet don't match though, the photo and description belong to the IVECO chassis version and the spec sheet is for FWD Fiat.
Wow that's even worseThe Fiat one was parked behind it in Brownhills and a similar price
I think it's 6x4 as in 4 driven wheels on the rear axle just like any other IVECO daily based motorhome.

and it spectacularly fails ,it is more likely that the boss of swift saw his race competitors turn up in RS motorhomes and thought "i could do that" but the markets he is trying to sell in have customers who want something built to their spec not an off the shelf itemthe salesman explained this Swift motorhome is aimed at the motor racing and equestrian market.
do you mean the fiat one? because the iveco is rear wheel drive and can have a difflockDrive shafts into the front wheels direct from gearbox, i got on the ground and looked. Makes sense when its marketed directly to motorsports and equestrian, lots of fields to park in.
So could we BUT we don't want to we already have a house in the UK and would much rather have a motorhome than another house.I could buy a house in Spain with a private Swimming pool for that. In a reasonable neighbourhood and a small seas view too!.
