Morning all

Do any of you have this panel fitted?

A relative of mine has recently bought a new Swift caravan ....

The unit is hard wired to the Truma iNet CP heater control with a Swift specific bus.

However, the touch screen keeps freezing...

After trying to talk them through it... I now think it’s poss a software issue.. as I can get it operational after a “re-boot”... only for it to “fall over” again when comunicating with the iNet Combi heater control.

I have a pal who works at a huge Swift dealer and he has mentioned to me on a number of times how the Swift units fail.

In some cases they can't be fixed by a dealer or a specialist so a brand new unit is often required.

It would be great if an owner of a new Swift were to advise you better.

The Swift command Center has not been Swift's most successful gadget to date though.

All the best,

If your relative has recently bought a new Swift caravan why not let the dealer and Swift sort out the problem?

That is the plan (y)....

However, they are currently living in said van (awaiting purchase of another property) and are parked up a good distance from dealer..

He’s a tanker driver (shifts) and she doesn’t drive or work...

So until his shift pattern allows... was enquiring if anyone had the same panel issues i.e software and if they’d had it fixed. In order to enlighten them when dealing with Dealer (y)

Thanks for the reply, I can see now why you are trying to fix it for them. It’s sad to read that your relative has purchased a new van and has trouble like this. Some years ago I had a problem with a new van and it was impossible to get it back to the dealers due to work commitments before a booked holiday and they sent an engineer to our house at a fair price to cover travelling time and if unable to fix it may be an option.

Good Luck.
