swift 630l tow bar motor cycle carry (1 Viewer)

Hi all I have a swift 630l and have been thinking of putting a tow bar on it so I can carry a small moped.

problem is how far it needs to be extended had a quote for 500 + vat are people mad for a couple of bits of metal.

I already have a bike platform just need the tow bar bit so it can all fit together ?

but are they safe.
what if the bike snaps the back of the motor home??

Be very careful about the weight. Tow bars are designed to do just that, tow. They can carry a certain amount of down weight, so be aware that heavy objects can and do break the frame. Simsy

this is what im worried about i could build one myself but if it snaped then what.
if i get a company to build one would i be able to go back if it all went wrong or would they just get out of it anyway.??oh:
