Swanage in July

[Lucky one]

Swanage jazz festival 10-12th July. I am looking for suitable places to stay reasonably close to the town or on a bus route. Any recommendations please. Anyone else thinking of going or been.

Many times when kids were young, not July though as always in Europe then. I would book now.....look on uk campsites for reviews and Google maps for bus routes

Its a lovely little seaside town..you have inspired me to visit again

norden farm (where the dorset meet is held in june) is a really nice site and on a bus route too, although how often or late they run, have no idea..

edit..the bus stops are just outside the gate, 'tis about six miles from swanage..

I'll add my vote for Norden Farm. It's a great site and the facilities are fab, even the dogs have their own shower!

We stay regularly on the Haycraft CC site. Regular steam trains to and from Swanage just 10 minute walk down the road.

There are tons of sites near Swanage but definitely book now. We live locally and tried to get a couple of nights in last year at short notice at 4 different sites......virtually nothing available. Managed to get in at Haycrafts, lovely site.

Many thanks to you all I am leaning towards Norden farm it looks a suitable site for me and my grand daughter. Shame the funster meet there did not tie in with the jazz festival !
