Good morning Funsters

Having taken our front blind off to give it a clean after our French adventures we found that the 'wallpaper' (for want of a better description) has started to craze. We're 90% sure it's not damp as our hab check earlier this year gave a clean bill of health. We were in southern France in the 2019 heatwave and have been subjected to similar temperatures this year.

Our questions are, a) do we worry? b) what if any repairs might be needed? c) if structurally OK, how do we improve the look cosmetically?

Thanks in advance

Team GerTee

Regardless of the damp check that looks like water damage to me from a leaking window rubber.
You need to take the window and surround out and if there are signs of water ingress you will need to remove the wallboard to assess the damage. If you leave it it will only get worse if it is water ingress.
