Supermarket near Cherbourg

With the restrictions on what we can take into France can anyone recommend a supermarket with large parking bays and no height barriers to do shopping at. Somewhere heading south on a main route would be ideal.

No one will check your fridge heading into or out of France. Been across twice this year and no one is interested in the slightest. Personal consumption isn't the issue. There's a huge Auchan in La Glacerie on the main A13 on the way out. Top of the hill and across the roundabout which has an Ibis and McDonald's on it. No height barriers and simply take two parking spaces just as everyone else does.

Thanks for the information haven’t used Cherbourg for years usually use Calais but now avoid Calais due to the ongoing problems there.

Have you tried putting Cherbourg into google maps and scrolling until you get the options for shops groceries pubs etc?

As Winger said, use Google maps. Search 'Cherbourg supermarkets' then zoom in from this overall view.
The supermarkets are shown in red with a trolley.
