Morning all,
Just taken on Sunliving by Adria, relatively new brand at the moment. Just wanted your thoughts on them and have you heard of them?!
My take so far:
Build quality superior to most things on the forecourt.
Cheaper than Adria
Modern and fresh
Decent variety of berths.

I would be intrigued to see what you all think of them. I always like getting feedback!

I think they've been about for 5 years or more, Adria brought them out as an entry level van. We had an Adria and loved it and very happy with the build quality, we did look inside the Sunliving a few years ago and in our opinion the interior was definitely more basic. This doesn't mean the quality isn't the same just the materials they use are cheaper.

As an Adria budget brand, in some other countries Sun Living was discontinued and replaced by "Elios".

That made me wonder if the Sun Living brand would have a short life in the UK.

Lots of hire companies use them so my guess is that they are sturdy, well built but fairly basic to suit people who are not seasoned motorhomers.

not Brit built so some might miss the indoor pool. :)

You completely miss the point.

What do the Brits talk about more than anything else, the weather.

What is Brit weather like - damp.

Brit vans are carefully tuned to the Brit people to keep them sufficiently damp and give them something to talk about.

"How's your floor today Jim ? "

"Damp".

"I'm worried about mine, too dry, I think it might shrink".

"Fred had that, 'is floor shrank and he lost 'is dog on the M1".

"Nasty that, losing your dog on the M1, did he get another ?".

"Nah, 'e said couldn't bear to lose another one."

"He could have got a safety harness for it".

"'e did for the dog on the M1, all 'es got now is 'alf an 'arness. 'e keeps it to remind 'im of it"

There seems to be a new make added to the UK market in every issue of MMM there must be a limit sooner or later

I met a chap the other week who has owned one for 6-8 months and he mentioned that he was really pleased with his; the only problem being a sticky catch on one of the lockers.

IMO at that great price I see no point in wasting your hard earned cash on a Brit van when you can buy an SL.

So feed back looks positive, so far you guys have summarised,
Entry level Adria (Not a bad thing)
Good value for money
Built well
Relatively unknown.

Think we may have a winner here!

There's loads of "winners" out there yet FUN is full complaints of them being losers.

I think the bottom line is really the dealer. A half decent product with a winning dealer, now that is the package. Johns Cross a good example. EddievanSparks another.

So do you reckon the terms you have will allow you to be that winning dealer and make a living ?

Good question!
So as a dealer, we are rectifying known recalls before the new vehicles go out, 100% positive feedback so far, fingers crossed I can keep this up!
2 nights at Cornish Farm for handovers as a thanks/ in case of issues. Main dealer group so hab and vehicle can be done in house without having to find some random Peugeot dealer somewhere.
We provide all customers whether new or used:
Blue and Pink chem
Mains hook up lead
Bottle of gas
Fire extinguisher
Smoke alarm
CO alarm etc

We are not perfect and still very new but we are trying!
Plus we have introduced a funster discount on any van as well!

Well first Sun Living is now sold. The customer was seriously impressed with the build quality.
Long may this continue!
