Unable to lock habitation door from inside when lever pushed forward nothing happens

first thought is the key slot outside exactly vertical iff not the lock wont work if that dont cure it next is first remove the internal handle surround (black) you will see a small black plug behind the lever prise it out and remove the screw the next bit sounds risky but be brave get hold of the big beige raised part and pull it off as i said you have to be brave now you have access to the lock if you look at the bottom and move the internal handle you will see that the lever is not operating the arm wiggle it back behind the lever and its now ok replace the big beige bit then the handle surround and have a beer .. its not a great design but in saying that mines only done it once

Yeah. Must be same lock on Carado. Has happened to me twice. It seems outer gets out of synch with inner.

I just waggled it about a bit and messed around with the lever and it seemed to right itself somehow.

It was my fault on ours I shut a strap in the door not what you want to do on an aire
