Here are the details
We are seeking a couple to run the cafe/bar on our holiday park in SE Cornwall from the beginning of April until the end of September opening at weekends from 4pm to 9pm for each normal week and every day of the week in school holidays. We estimate a total of 142 days for the contract term giving plenty of time to enjoy your stay and explore the area. The successful applicants must be able to demonstrate applicable catering and bar skills and a desire to work in a demanding environment serving up to 100 customers per day in school holidays providing a range of simple quality snacks and meals plus beverages including tea, coffee and local bottled beers, wines and spirits. We will support your suggestions for menu and operational ideas. You will need to have a pleasant, amiable and positive attitude towards staff and customers. and will be required to work unmanaged under your own initiative. The salary is £10 per hour per person which based on our total hours calculation generates £25K-£30K per couple for the contract period. We are also offering a profit based bonus for efficient running of the facility which can add another £10K to this. Free accommodation will be provided in a 2 bedroom static caravan or a pitch for your own unit. This will include free wi-fi, utilities and use of the indoor pool and spa.
