I’m a newbie😎 Picked up C’More 17 June 2022
I have two French gas bottles in my new motorhome. I have switched to the second bottle and will probably run out within the next week or so. I am in Croatia and will need to fill up here. I have read loads of information about the subject but nothing seems to stick in my brain. Any suggestions on where and how to get a refill or exchange? And any recommendations on what the ideal set up would be for Europe full time travel? Thank you!

They look to be french exchange bottles, I would check the local Croatia propane outlet and check what price their bottles are, you will probably need a pigtail for the bottle and to connect to your regulator. You can keep the empty French bottle untill you return to France ,assuming it has some reasonable value.
Or you can ask the propane outlet if they can arrange to have your French bottle filled, worth an ask

Depending on which French bottle it maybe, our French Propane from Intermarche only carry a one Euro deposit.

Thank you. These are exchange bottles for sure. I got a hold of someone that said they can refill French bottles (will go on Sat). If they can be refilled it’s only a short term fix. I do need to buy refillable bottles and get an adaptor kit at some point. I won’t be in the UK until next year so I think I will try and find two here, if that’s possible. And I would get a deposit back in France.
