Hi everyone, im'e looking for some advice if anyone can help. My Fiamma Aqua 8 water pump is screwed to the wall with four screws. These screws came loose. When I tried to tighten them up none of them would ,they just kept spinning. It looks as though the manufacturer have screwed through the grp wall and into the blue Styrofoam . This doesn't seem very strong to me considering the vibration of the water pump. My question is does anyone know of any inserts that can be glued to the wall and then screw the pump to. Thanks in advance.

Could you bond on a big square of 6mm ply wood and screw into that? I presume it's out of sight 🤔.

I generally pack original hole out with a match (or as many as needed) that have been dipped in super glue (epoxy if into foam), let it set off then clean to a flat surface with a sharp chisel (or Stanley type blade) then screw it back as normal into the new wood (matches)

Bond on a thickish ali plate and then use riv nuts that way you can use a set screw rather than a wood screw or self tapper .

As Richard and Ann said or fill holes with araldite and then screw into that😊

This would be my favourite of the methods suggested. I would also bond the the rivnuts in whilst i was at it.
