I know there aren't supposed to be any stupid questions but i do feel silly asking this.

I've been using the Growler for a while now having had it fitted to two vans, I just use it without really taking any notice except when it chirps having detected a fault, usually a door open.

Anyway last night I armed it as usual and got the two quick flashes of the lights and rapid LED flashing, a short gap and another flash, then after about 3sec another flash. The LED flashed rapidly for another 20 or so secs then slowed and all seemed fine.

What threw me was after the initial two flashes of the lights I'm sure I only ever remember there being one flash, not two with a short pause of about 3 secs in-between. Am I going mad

Yes I think you have gone mad(y)

On ours, we press button A and the indicator lights flash twice and at the same time, the LED blinks rapidly. After a few seconds, the indicators flash once and about 10 seconds later, the LED goes to a slow blink.

If this alarm is so damned good why does it not have a nice little display saying "Alarm Set" or "You F****d up again" like any good house alarm.

Come on @eddievanbitz get into the 21st century and stop confusing all the olde fartes in motorhomes.

Yep, exactly what I remember. Will check with Vanbitz tomorrow and see if I have a problem.

Do you have a bike loop on it ,is the rocker switch in at the top
Happened with ours

Other issues have emerged since my original post so definitely a call to Vanbitz is required. Thanks.

Didn't fail this time either.

Just as you said, and I expected, a few phone calls and it was sorted. This is a quality product professionally fitted by a company where aftercare and support for customers is paramount.

I has some work done that entailed removing of some of the dashboard, this dislodged the movement sensor causing abnormal flashing of the indicators.

Thanks to those who gave helpful suggestions(y)
