There are now a few vets who have set up a specialised streamlined AHC service, so I thought a separate thread would be useful to make them readily accessible.

PassPets, Havant
https://www.passpets.co.uk/

Abbeywell Vets, Folkestone
https://animalhealthcertificate.online/

Animal Health Certificates UK North, Leeds
https://www.animalhealthcertificatesuknorth.co.uk/

Pawsome Pet Travel, Glasgow/Edinburgh
https://pawsomepettravel.com/

If you know of other vets who provide a streamlined AHC service, please post their details in this thread. Thank you.

PawsPort (mentioned above in post #8) have now moved to Banbury, and also provide AHCs in north Kent.

Don’t know if they’re streamlined or not but Abbeywell Vet in Folkestone are a sensible price and you can collect AHC on your way.
Once you’ve had one AHC from them the next is cheaper.

Abbeywell is listed in the opening post.

AHC Direct (mentioned in post #6 above) now also operate in Cardiff, Llanelli and Northampton.

PassPets (mentioned in the opening post) will also be operating in Bristol from 24 April.

Adding to this thread so the info is all in one place.
I have checked this one out and. It is on north east side of Bristol by M4 and A1474 ring road. No need to go into LEZ.

This is the first time using an AHC for us, so we were a bit nervous. We're using Passpets in Havant, I scanned and emailed the vaccination books for both dogs, and got our vet to send the medical records. Then I phoned to check and they're happy with everything, so hopefully no problems when we collect the AHC 2 days before we go🤞

Easy Pet Travel, Ashford

I have questions :-)

We will be travelling on Jan 15th
The AHC lasts 10 days
It says I must submit application at least 10 days in advance

I mailed them giving my date and asked when I should apply
They said as soon as possible

But Ifr I apply NOW can I stipulate collection on the 15th of Jan ?

I would have thought so - I think that's how all the online AHC providers work. Perhaps they get quite busy so like plenty of advance warning? I'm one of the lucky few who has never had to get an AHC, so can't offer any personal experience. I got my dog's Pet Passport on my way back from Italy in March 2021.

I'm sure there'll be others along who can detail just how the online AHC process works.

I had to apply asap, they sent a form and then requested a full medical history from our vet to check everything is ok. After that I booked an appointment 2 days before we go. Once issued the AHC is valid for 10 day for outward travel and 4 months for return travel.
