Can anyone suggest a storage compound to take our 8 mtr van. Happy to travel approx 100 miles from London as it will be long term stored.

I have mine stored at JC Leisure in Rye, as a dealer they have workshops, etc on site which is a real bonus come MOT, service, etc.

I live in romford, I use barnfield, at great notley as described earlier, it is very large, seems expensive but about the going rate. Always looks full but with so many spaces who knows, when the site near maldon closed they did seem to get some more Van's in. Just looked at map about 19 miles from you so might be the closest

I'd store my van out of Romford if I lived there, was working over there on a road called Cottons Approach before Christmas, hour n a quarter to get there early in the morning, over 2 hours to battle through the traffic to get home.

Yes it was but speaking to John the owner it's all off for now and they are open for business as usual, he said it could be years before it's developed or not at all. If you google earth the postcode, then on the map Woolmans Wood is to the right and at the north end of Rochester airfield. I know he has hard standing left as the one next to me is free at the moment.

Just a thought. I chose Barnfield because it’s security status is accepted by Comfort and other insurances: two codes locked gates and CCTV. You may need to check with your insurance if going elsewhere.
