After refitting my left side door step after EPS levelling unit was fitted, I find that Although the step is now in place 4 inches further back and secure. I am left with a long wiring harness encased in plastic sleeve with connectors, but not the foggiest idea of where they stripped it from., there is an access sleeve to under the passenger seat and that look like whence it came but the is no idea of where it connects. There is some wiring going into the door itself from under the dash but a connector on that which is loose has only small gauge wiring and wrong colours.
The fitter must have disconnected the wiring and just pulled it out from somewhere along under the floor.
Does anybody have any idea where it comes from under there???
I will ring Doncaster on Monday but I doubt they will remember that model from all the vehicles they deal with every day.
I refitted the motorised step, as it is a big step down, and without it my wife cannot use the door. The front left hydraulic leg is where the step used to retract so it had to come out to get the leg in.

I have today phoned Doncaster and the fitter there could not remember where it was but vaguely thought it went up besides the filler tube into the body, so armed with that I finally found a moulded hole in the floor behind the furniture panel beside the door. Bingo four connection later and it all works again. Moving it back 4 inches makes it a much better place as well as I can get on the step without the door blocking off half of it .
