Hi
My b524sl has been left on EHU pretty much throughout the winter but, for various reasons, has hardly moved (I know that's not a good idea but had other priorities). The starter battery was showing as being fully charged last week but this has dropped to 7 and refuses to rise even with a direct battery charger. Can anyone recommend a good replacement (make/model) as I'm reluctant to rely on a battery that has gone this low.
Thanks

Can't recommend but to drop from fully charged to 7 volts in a week it definately needs replacing.
It will accept a partial charge if you also connect a good battery while it's charging.
Smart chargers won't start until they read a voltage above maybe 10volts.
Temporarily connecting a second battery will provide the extra voltage.
I checked my ride-on mower battery last week.....just 2.8v.
Hooked up a spare battery and charging began...once charge began, disconnected spare battery.
Though I don't expect for one minute the battery will be any good.
