Since 2011 (tugger for 20 before that)
Whilst away last time, we noticed the van 'rocked' quite a lot in the wind. Apart from the hydraulic jacks (bit too pricy for my pocket) what other stabilisers do people use?

TIA

John

ALKO chassis rear wind down stabilisers - factory fitted but always on ebay etc.... 2 minutes with my electric drill and a lot of that rocking disappears.
Also see people using the caravan style ones - look like axle stands but you wind them up and down rather than locking in place with a pin.

Had an Autotrail tag axle 28ft with alko stabilisers fitted, never used them once in 6 years
is it the wind or unmentionables thats the problem;):rofl:

Thanks for that. That looks like the sort of thing I need. Unfortunately, they are sold (although not marked as such)

Always sleep better with the van rocking in the wind.
I was up in Seahouses the back end of last year when we had the tail end of a storm through.....I’d have sworn I was in the wizard of Oz and was fully expecting to go outside In the morning and find a witch under the van. 😂

Here’s the ones I have bought them from a member of MHF. They are very effective.😊
