Fellow Funsters,
Six and half year old Swift Kontiki 635 and the shower wall has developed a vertical crack. There appears to be a vertical fault line from floor to ceiling. There is also a smaller crack to the right of the one shown in the photo. Emailed Brownhills for some help and not interested, just said out of warranty. Does anyone know of any one who does repairs in the Yorkshire area.
Many thanks in anticipation

if the shower try is intact have a look at lining the walls with a waterproof wall board over the shower cubicle have a look at cladding monkey 2.5mm board

Dear All, Many thanks for your help and advice, have manage to resolve the issue
both Swift and Brownhills have been very helpful and supportive in this matter. A new wall is to be fitted, there will be a cost but currently negotiating. Panic over !!

Any idea why it happened, or what can be done to stop occurring again?

It appears to be a stress fracture where the wall starts to curve. Why it went can’t give you an answer. Would be interesting to see what supports there is behind the wall
