Photograph of a spider 🕷 I took on the decking of a pod we booked for a few days whilst visiting the 2019 CAM home show Birmingham 2019 .I have never been able to Id it any thoughts please.

It was certainly a big bugger that’s for sure .We still had our dog then and he was very interested in it .

It's a giant spider of the species, Getus Hooverus quickus or possibly Getus Vaxus prontus. Its presence is usually preceded by by a high pitched scream and a bellow of "it's over there" (in most cases with assorted encouragements such "hurry up you idiot" or "you'll be endangered if you don't hurry up").

For clarity, it is not the spider that's screaming or bellowing - it's usually me.

No I love them too, a spider rich garden is a healthy garden.
