A trip out to Val Verde visitor centre in Doñana today around 80 mile trip through lots of countryside spotted these near Isla Mayor and the rest on the track to visitor centre.

The weather is absolutely wonderful here at El Rocio here’s a few pictures.

We have decided to call it a day and head for home, it’s very hard to get any confirmed facts from the site as to what is going on and they are closing at the end of the month. We are leaving Saturday and heading North towards the tunnel giving us time to get dogs sorted at a vets en route and train booked for Thursday early AM.
Does not seem to be any problem getting a train at the moment?

Well folks that’s it for this winter we are at home after a four day drive up to the tunnel from El Rocio, interestingly the French seem to be corralling travellers along the main transit routes only allowing you to stop at motorway service areas, the village aires we tried using were closed and usually Gendarmes asking where you are going.
As we had already booked for Thursday tunnel informed us we could just turn up and go as soon as a train available we only waited half an hour and got the train last night Tuesday and overnighted in a lay-by near Maidstone, early start today and got home around 10.30.
Thanks for following us hope we can do a better job next winter if we are out of this corona virus mess.???
