Spending Schengen days

How do people spend their days in eu? We were thinking of six weeks from early January, back again in April and then again at the end of August/ beginning of September. Originally I’d thought we could stay a bit longer for the April break and use Croatia but it seems it’s joining the Schengen in January which is a bit of a pain. It would be cheaper to only go twice but I don’t think I can wait till spring!

We’re in similar situation, though likely not to take ‘van for the first trip due to lack of choice of sites and total cost compared to just renting an apartment in Spain and flying out.

It’s not too strict in Spain at the moment. No scans at Ali are airport in September or Santander port in October.

If your 6 weeks start say on 7th Jan they will last until about 13th Feb. These days will start to drop off the 180 day running total about 4th July and be totally extinguished by about 11th August.

Therefore unless you April trip plus your Aug/Sept trip will exceed 90 days you have no problem.
