We shopped in Carrefour Supermarket yesterday and these were with the rest of the eggs. SWMBO tried to crack one over the edge of the frying pan

Oi, I bought them yesterday and tried to fry one this morning! My marbles were all intact, last time I looked. ?

That happened to me once - all smug because I had managed to ask the shop assistant in Spanish where the eggs were and when I went to fry an egg found it hard boiled. Egg mayonnaise sandwich was not my favourite breakfast.

On my first trip to France with a friend he asked several shops for "des yeux" only to be met by blank looks and laughter. Thank god no-one gave him what he asked for .
