Hi,

We are setting off for a September through to the end of October trip through France into Spain via the Med. then hopefully down to Cadiz and back up to Haro and Pamplona before crossing into France again. It is new to us. We fancy taking our Autotrail Tracker FB the Pyrenees into France.

Can anyone offer advice about the Pyrenees crossing from Pamplona to Orthez please on the N-135( to Ispoure in the first instance then onto Orthez). Is it a decent a widish road suitable for motorhomes?

If we could we would rather do this than Somport or Irun.

Best wishes,
Mike.

Since 2007. But no more.
Not done that way but it looks OK.

Late October should be fairly clear of snow, but if I were doing it I would keep a wary eye on local weather reports.

I notice with interest that google does not see that as the best way to get from Pamplona to Orthez.

Should be an interesting trip, though!

started in a minivan 1970's when I could fit into it.
I,ve not done that road but will be interested as to how you get on at that time of year.
About Spain recommends a different route but it,d be a pretty crowded road if we all went down this route.

That road looks 'wiggly' once it gets to Spain.
