I see Southport Pleasureland has a new website with a pic of the parking , wont post a picture but the last time i was there (and wont be going again) for the Air show in 2014 and the vans were packed in like this. Would you go after looking at the website?

That picture is inside the fairground and only used on the weekend of the air show. We went in 2015, there was also a few other funsters who we bumped into. We arrived early and to be honest had good spacious parking . The later they arrive the more they squeeze in.
Generally parking is usually on the big carpark and ample space. However at £15 it's pushing it's luck, if there is a CCC event on in the park we prefer to go there.

It's only similar to a French Aire when busy.
However, I've been put off by the news that the Pleasureland has been plagued by youths who have taken to smashing things up.
It was on the news last month that they wrecked some things and threatened the owner.
Hopefully the police sorted it but that's enough for me to consider elsewhere.

We stayed at a CCC THS at the park 3 and half years ago (early May BH) and vans were packed into Pleasurelands like that then.

We have used the site over the last few years. Even during the busy times, the vans have been adequately spaced and no 'lout' problems have been experienced.
