I have seen other Funsters starting a few threads with good news to distract us for a moment from our current crisis.
Here is my news........

CrazyCatLady (Karon) proposed to me on Feb 29th (following the age old tradition of women being "allowed" to propose in a Leap Year.)
I SAID YES! ?. (As I didn't want to pay the fine for saying no. ?)

If you don't have a clue what I am talking about here is a web explanation......

Irish monks took the tradition to Scotland where, in 1288, it was made into a law that women could propose during leap years, that they must wear a red petticoat while proposing, and that refusals would result in a fine. This was supposedly decreed by the young, unmarried Queen Margaret, though she was 5 years old.

And you didn't think quickly enough to say "No, sorry, that was suspended due to the CV".

Congratulations . If there’s a stag night in the plans don’t let you’re sisters organise it. Mine was so secret my sisters both couldn’t understand why I wasn’t there. They both blamed each other for not inviting me. I was in the other pub having a quiet drink.

You realise you will soon become a member of a minority group in Peterborough , a couple living together who are married.

All the best for the future
