Solving water mark on wall/ceiling lining!

I have a small water mark on my ceiling from a leak which was sorted out before I purchased. Anyone one have a secret recipe to reduce/clean it off please? A friend has suggested shaving cream but wondered if there is a go to safe method.

We used elbow grease on all our upholstery (the person who bought our 690 new chose beige suedette

It’s absolutely brilliant, but you’de have to use it on the whole panel, as it would leave a mark where it had been used, ie. The outside panel of our drivers seat had a couple of grubby marks on, so I tried to spot clean it and it left a mark, so I did the whole panel and it was fine.

I know what I mean even if you don’t!

In a similar vein I have some staining on a roof blind that was there when I bought. I was thinking I might try spraying with diluted bleach. Does that sound like a good solution (Pun intended!)?

Tried that but didn’t seem to do anything unfortunately.

I used weak bleach solution in a spray bottle and citrus cleaner worked in with a paintbrush and wipe with a clean cloth.
Needed a few applications but worked fine - cover anything with old towels,use gloves and wear glasses

You can try a hydrogen peroxide solution, depending on the strength you buy you may wish to dilute it with distilled water. Test it on a bit that can't be seen first. It can be mixed with cream of tartar into a paste if you need an abrasive but try it without first.

Sure I read somewhere to use white vinegar then sponge off with a damp cloth. Don’t quote me, but Google it, perhaps?

Depends on the material & finish ... on a previous motorhome we had a water stain on a wall panel which was ply wallboard with wallpaper covering. The cure was to firstly cover the area with an oil based primer and then to sponge stipple the pattern with matt emulsion colour mixed to suit.

I also have some staining on our ceiling, from a leak. The ceiling is white and the staining is a blueish colour. The ceiling looks like it has a papery finish and I'm too scared to try anything on it, in case it looks even worse. Using something like bleach on something white can actually end up turning it yellow, so I daren't try that at all. I'm watching this thread, in case anyone has a safe answer

As I mentioned, hydrogen peroxide works well, I have a water stain on my headlining, some Hydrogen peroxide and a small stiff brush removed it, in the after photo it's still damp but the stain has pretty much gone, I'll give it another go if anything remains once it's dry tomorrow.

A little neat washing up liquid then sponge out with damp sponge
