Hi All
Need to tidy up and secure the wiring on the roof from solar panel. Currently it looks like the photo attached! Basically couple of lumps of silicone and some double sided sticky tabs😂 which are all loose!! I’m thinking it’s not been done by a professional!😂
What should I use to replace?

thanks

I used 2 pieces of 16mm mini trunking. Remove the sticky pad and bond it to the roof with Sikaflex or similar. Keep both ends open so the water blows through. I'll see if it's on the photos I took...

That’ll be great thanks

Hardly anyone will see the roof (and so what if they do?).
Fix the pads with Sikaflex and that will do it.
Conduit may be prettier but the pads are easier to change.

As Above.
Small trunking from new panel routed into original capping.
NB
I replaced the rock eventually.

No pics only this one showing the end. The next piece is parallel but staggered so it lines up with the roof entry box 👍

Unfortunately it probably was done by a professional... usual standard I’m afraid..

is that a padlock on your solar panel
Yes there's 1 on each side to act as a safety catch in case the three 8mm bolts ever work lose, it's just bolted down onto aluminium channel on the front edge so can't go too over the top tightening it up. The back edge is hinged, see above pic, that's why I used channel to mount it😎👍

Heres mine it's worth getting trunking without self adhesive tape already fixed it's a right pain to get off if you're going to use sikaflex or similar to stick it down.
