Im a Newbie
Picking up our new Bessacarr 597 soon. (Brand New but 2018 model)
Quick question as I now can only download the 2019 year model.
Does it have a solar panel fitted ?
Thanks (Excited Dave & Maureen)

Hi David, might be better asking if anyone has a 2018 Bessacarr 597 and asking them the question or of course the dealer. (y)

Exciting times ahead. Bob.

Hi David, this is an extract of the electrical spec of the Bessacar range. The 100w solar unit is the 3rd point from the bottom.

I would still give the dealer a call (y)

All the best,

Andrew

Coming from a 2017 Swift Elegance 650 T/A. Caravan. (Now sold)
Here's hoping we've made the right decision.
We did hire a new Swift MH first for a week.
Loved the ease of it all. Just picked the wrong layout.
Hope we have got it right this time big garage at the back, for my little Honda Grom
Dave & Maureen.

Hi Dave, have you checked your weight calculations as the 597 will not come with much payload and it needs to be registered at 3,850kg to achieve a manufacturers quoted payload of about 530kg.

If you make a few weight adjustments for the extras and then consider the +/-5% EU allowance for a variation in the weight of the materials being used then you may only have about 250-300kg left (and that excludes the scooter which will weigh about 130kg due to the fulcrum effect.)

All the best,

Andrew

Yes I realise this Bob
It is 3850kg.
Motorbike only weighs100kgs.its a baby 125 proper bike though not a scoot.
Well only carry it now and then.
Most times we will have the 2 push bikes on the back rack.
Cheers
Dave
