I notice from your previous posts that you had a Bessacarr 597 whichyou sold. Can you tell me anything about it? Why you sold it? How much you got for it (I hope that isnt cheaky)? Im looking at one in Pullingers at the minute and it looks good (might actually be yours as mileage looks right) , but I know next to nothing about motorhomes - this would be our first. Any sort of steer would be good

Yes that's our one. We P/X it for a new A class Pilote. I've always wanted an A class, (G740 C with the 9 speed Auto) and the wife who has a bad back needed a lower fixed bed, and struggled a little to climb up onto the single beds. Having said that they are very comfortable.
As you can see it has been meticulously looked after with quite a few things added to it.
Max post reached more to follow.

I even re piped the heating ducts onto the drivers feet, as it's quite well known the Auto box models you always had cold feet. We sold it before i even had chance to try it out properly.
Quite happy to answer any more questions you may have.

So grateful to you for replying Dave. Could I ask, how was the power and gearbox on it? Slightly concerned about 130bhp on such a heavy vehicle. Someone suggested the auto gearbox was a little lazy (no experience there myself). It looks really clean and tidy. Might be the one for us but they are looking £55k for it. I would have placed it closer to £50k.
