Hi, this also maybe a daft question, but, does a Solar panel top up the leisure/Hab Battery and the engine battery or just the Hab battery. I wonder because i have acquired an endless breeze and am now worried if i plug it into the ciggie hole i will wake up with a flat battery. thanks

It can do both, but definitely the hab battery, depends how the wiring is configured from the controller if you can supply pics of your controller that may help.
If you sleep at night, like most folks, best not to leave the fan on all night though.

It's not a daft question at all. You have to be careful. If the cigarette-lighter socket runs from the cab battery (and many of them do) then there might be a problem.

Even if the solar controller charges the cab battery, it is usually only a trickle charge. The fan might be taking power out faster than it is being replaced. And of course at night there's no solar, anywhere south of the Arctic circle.

You can check by looking at the voltage on the cab battery. If it's 13.0 volts or more during the day, then it's getting charge from the solar. If it's 12.7 or below, then very likely it's not.

Most cab cig sockets don't have any power when the engine is switched off.
