Could someone answer my question
I have a 2019 autosleeper symbol
Just put into storage
I have isolated my power control unit to save battery power
Will my solar panel still charge my batteries
During no use
Kind regards

Depends if the solar goes through the control unit. If it does I would say no. Mine does as it is connected directly to the battery. Then there's the question of whether it's connected to the leisure batterieor the engine battery, or both?

If this is long term storage and you want to stop your batteries discharging, just disconnect the negative lead on your batteries. Off course this will mean no power going to any alarm's/trackers you may have fitted.

Thanks for your replies
Not sure if they go sure my PCU
That’s why I was asking
When PCU is on of course I get a reading through the screen unit above the door
So Probably answered my own question 🤭
The storage side I’m only not using the van for about 6 weeks

When the sun‘s shining down on your solar panel put a volt meter across the vehicle battery then the leisure battery, both should read above 13volts, then switch off the PCU if the voltage drops across the batteries then you’ve found the answer

If your PSU is a Sargent EC700 unit and your solar is factory fitted you need to leave the black shutdown/isolation button that is fitted on the top left side of it turned on for solar charging to function , but the control panel above the door can be left turned off.

S m w when you have reset the shutdown button it would be worth checking that the solar battery charging is still set to smart on the control panel , as it needs to be , to keep both the starter and leisure batteries charged in storage.
