Our Dometic fridge recently stopped working on gas but is fine on hook up. So we are plugged in until we can get the fridge fixed.
With the batteries being charged by EHU should I cover up the solar panel on the roof ? Or will the controller manage the situation?

No your controller and charger will have a little chat and decide whose doing what
