does anyone know where I can buy a 240v socket to match ones in my Chausson? Whoever had it before me fitted an extra socket in the kitchen but it is a surface mounted domestic one and they it fixed on the work surface (god knows why) I want to move it to the wall and would like to match the original ones.

It would probably be an idea to post a picture of the ones you want to match.

There are various different types used.

Ah, the old post some pictures problem. Basically I am a complete numpty with computers. So I would have no idea how to add a picture. The socket I want is about 75mm square, black with a silver surround. I hope this is enough information.

It will either be a Beker or a CBE, probably the latter. CBE are stocked by CAK Tanks & Leisure and plenty on eBay.

Thanks guys. I did google it as suggested and it is cbe as you thought. Isn't this a great place? Now ordered and will be fitted on arrival.
