... A nice little heartwarming video, as three snorkellers struggle for an hour to cut a young humpback whale free after being entangled in fishing net, and the reaction from the whale as it's released. :thumb:

Was a newbie, now a Middie.
" PHEW, Cheers guys", said the whale, whose name was Eric. So Eric took all his new friends down to the pub, and then on for a sushi meal.
What a sad ending...:cry: However, Eric's new friends still go down to the coast to visit, and sometimes he comes to see them, catching a bus to Mexico City............

Night night, sleep tight. ::bigsmile:::bigsmile::thumb:

Those that have been following TV's "Whale Wars" will be aware, but those that don't will be pleased to know that the Sea Shepherd organisation have succeeded in gaining a (Japanese) government ban on whaling, which was masquerading as 'research.' They will be watching closely to ensure that the ban is maintained, and may well now be re-focussing their efforts on Iceland, Norway and other whaling nations.
