Smell from alde boiler (1 Viewer)

we seem to have a smell coming from our alde boiler/ heater. It smells a bit like drains. Had the torch in there and looking to see if we have a mouse or something got in . The water in the taps seems ok , any ideas please.

Are you sure it is the boiler? If your battery is getting too hot it smells like that. Might be worth checking it out.

I did feel the battery but was not warm at all. It's not smelling all the time, it seems to come and go which made me think it was to do with the heating. Will check the battery again. Cheers

Hi checked the battery again this morning not even slightly warm. It's a numax sealed type. Am sure it's to do with boiler.
