I have the offer to upgrade my plan to unlimited for £16 per month but I cannot find a link to do it, I have tried their chat bot but it goes in circles saying - GO to dashboard and follow the links ?? it only offers the £20 no mention for the offer. I'm sure there is some clever clogs on here that could tell me,

Mine just offers the £20 unlimited, still no details on data only packages and nothing for £16.

How did you receive the offer? Is there not a link to click on from the message or email that you received?

Alternatively, try going to view your plan in the App or via your account online and see if there is anything there about upgrading.

I have this offer on every payment receipt but can't get it, it makes you wonder if it's a genuine offer

I was on the Smarty £16 a month unlimited plan, I had to call them up though to get the offer which they did without question

I’m now on the ebay £99 Vodaphone offer unlimited for 3 years so better coverage imo and a whole lot cheaper

There’s a thread all about it on the forum possibly started by Mixyblob but I can’t be certain 👍

Looks like UK only Sim unfortunatley.
I need to buy a new Sim this week for use in UK and EU. Think the 30GB for £10 from Plusnet is the one I will plump for. O2 do a 40GB for 10 however it will be on the same carrier that Anita has in her Tesco mobile and dont want all eggs in one basket.

OK solved! its an affiliated offer, you have to go to U switch and others to get it, NO THANKS

Just been on compare the market and its on there £16 a month on a 1 month rolling.

I had a live chat with Smarty about the £16 deal and the referral scheme and also if the phone sim could be used in a router.

I was told you couldn’t use referral because it was an affiliated site giving the offer ( strange as when you go to buy it puts you to the Smarty website) but with the referral only being £10 voucher for each , it’s cheaper to go for the deal.

I was told the phone sim is ok for use in router, I will see at the end of October.

Just another note on these offers, I’m thinking of getting a French sim whilst in France and suspending the Smarty but when you re-activate it you loss the offer price, so I either re start the sim or get another offer sim if available.

I think it’s probably Minxy you’re on about. She often posts info and links on good mobile deals. Sorry if I’m wrong.

Ah the old 'thread popping up and people replying' trap catches more victims! :giggle:

I can't recall posting anything about Smarty but it was a while ago that the comment was made so I may have referred to it in the past.

The deals for sims change all the time - I've just got a Talkmobile 30 day no contract sim half price for 3 months then £9.95 after that, 40gb of data and 12gb usable in the EU. I got this because of the cr@p service we're getting with our contract sims at present so may or may not stick with Talkmobile for the longer term depending on what happens.

Also someone is having issues with Smarty abroad:
