What's the TV? Avtex?
Smart TVs usually work mainly on WiFi from your phone or a router. Depending on the make you may get terrestrial channels if you tune it to a local transmitter.

A bit more info required and assuming it's terrestrial TV (BBC, ITV, Channel 4, etc) you're hoping to pull in.
What aerial, signal booster and TV?
Is the TV fed from the aerial via a signal booster?
If so, is the booster powered on?

Is where you plug into got a little red light and if not it should have a 12 plug .
Also have you retuned your TV to check what channels are available

You need to retune on a digital setting. With the aerial pushed up as high as it will go with the signal booster on.
