Small campsites to reopen....

It won't be as good as spending time at home in your sunny garden.

Surely, that depends on how fortunate you are! Personally, I know where I'd rather be(y)

When I rang a CS a week ago and asked if they had any idea when they were opening, the owner said that they were open from the 1st July. I booked a few nights and asked if they would call me if there were any change.
He replied that he was now full from the first and it would mess up their bookings if any different.

That looks like Trewethett cmc site in between tintagel and boscastle.
Yes well spotted & admittedly not a small site but was more of a statement to what I’m personally missing!
However, this one is a CL site:giggle:
You certainly know your sites if you can guess the location of this one(y)

I think he has jumped the gun there, the C&CC are looking at opening on the 4th July but only if the Government give the go ahead which as of yet they haven't.......

Only recognised the site because we have been there And it’s one of our favourites. Not been for a while but it’s a loverly site unless it’s windy. This is when we were there, we had to go on the top row because of our size.

Treweth farm, Tintagel one of our favorites.

Trewethett farm it’s a CMC site. You can walk straight out the site onto coast path and go left or right to Tintagal or Boscastle. If you can’t walk back bus drops you at the top of driveway. (y)

Yes you can walk both ways, but for those with any walking difficulties, it would probably be impossible to walk to Tintagel. I think it was one of my favourite sites. Fresh cornish pasties from reception, really nice fish and chip van, good weather when we were there helped though.

I'm still hoping to go to France, end of august train booked. Hopefully 3 weeks in the Provence.

Otherwise its a couple of weeks maybe around Scotland, depending on the weather.

Ok I give up, please tell us.

Just rung local site we often go to for a quick weekend away and they stated latest advice from C&CC is open from 4th July subject to government advice.

For us 'trapped' in France, it's a combination of being both in our garden and away!
And no; the van doesn't fit into that dependence. :giggle: View attachment 392346
Thanks for the “likes”. Hyacinth, I hope you recognised Oscar/Portia!
