I know I know I should have taken a photo but when clearing out the garage today (panic over no dampness) the chausson we have has a rail in it with a grove which I think is for tying things down ? Any ideas (chausson owners )?

Yes your correct. These should be a couple of fixing eyes, if they are missing you need get some M10 channel nuts and eyes.

Something like this:

M10 Plain Channel Nut, Zinc Plated (10) Amazon product ASIN B095SRCXY7
VOANZO Lifting Ring Eye Bolt M10 Marine Weight Lift Stainless Steel Male Thread Screws Bolts 5pcs Amazon product ASIN B082ND2LKT

I have these at high and low level, full length of my mh garage and also at one end and even on part of the roof. They are the Hymer ones which are very similar, though if they cost as much as the Fiamma ones they are an expensive addition.
I have bought a few more of the sliding ring things at around a fiver each so everything is tied down, or up, with ratchet straps or bungees as appropriate.
They are really useful.

Is the rail you are referring to the original one, which is where the floor comes through from the washroom ?
If so, did you find the bits you were looking for?
I need the same.
Regards Buzz.
