we sadly have to put Betty away now as DH is having surgery on his shoulder. what do most people do over winter put on their external silver screen or not, I say yes he say no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a set for use when away and an old set of screens which we use at home if the weather's inclement, they don't fit properly as they're for a coachbuilt and we have an A-class but they are sufficient to protect most of it including the side glass too.

We don't put the covers on unless we are using the van
A bit like body covers some people are fans others aren't

Many motorhomes in my storage facility, not a silver screen in sight.
I can't see the point, condensation won't happen because its the same temperature inside and out.

Its nothing to do with condensation for us - we face north and have open fields opposite so it does no harm to give it a bit of protection from the weather, we did this with our campers too as it meant the snow, rain etc was kept off the skuttle.

I only put our screens on when the van is parked up over the winter months when it's occasionally used as a 'spare room' can't be doing with the faffing about with them when touring though.
