eight years in theory, a newby in practice!!!
Over the years I've had a number of new cars and had their first MOT on the third anniversary of the purchase date.
We bought our first ever motorhome new on 28th June 2018, is the MOT due on the third anniversary just like a car?
There is absolutely nothing in the handbook regarding this.(y) Saying that we never even got a Service Record book

Yes, just the same and it's even classed as a car.
Thanks, it's something I never thought about 'till I was booking its annual hab check (y)

3rd Anniversary of First Registration. This is regardless of when constructed. How do I know this? Many years ago I purchased a new car. First one I ever had (new). Went to get the MOT done Year 3. The guy who did the MOT, told me "this vehicle was made nearly 5 years ago". Allegedly the manufacturer had been stockpiling because of "slow" sales. And it ultimately transpired that they where NOT working the "stock" oldest first, just nearest the gate!.
