Sikaflex 512, 521 and 552, All state ok for mounting solar panel brackets, any advice regarding the most appropriate one to use would be most welcome.

I used Sikaflex 292i twice the strength of 512 but it's more expensive, bought it from a place in Norwich,
about £20 delivered.

CT1 is also very good around 10 pounds a tube

Guys you beat me to it :D

For my current conversion I have used Sikaflex EBT to fix the solar panel although I always use mechanical fixings as well being a disbelieving type.

Sikaflex EBT is aimed at the building trade but the fact sheets from Sika indicate that it is suitable for roof tiles, shop fittings etc. so I thought I would give it a try. Fact sheets are available at https://www.sealantsandtoolsdirect....eige_brown_black_grey_white_clear_P26598.html . Screwfix sell it at £7.39 for a 300ml cartridge, colours available are black, white, beige, brown, clear and grey although I don't think Screwfix have all colours.

What wrong with good old fashioned mechanical fixings. I find a lump hammer 6" clout nail very effective. :cautious:

Uk Sealants at 36 Vulcan road south Norwich was the best price for sikaflex when I put solar panel on
