Has any one on here ever used the correct cleaner for sikaflex 521 is it just acertone or some other fancy cleaner previously I have always just cleaned the area with acertone and never had any problems.

I'm taking it you are talking when it's still fresh and wet or cleaning your hands etc.. in those instances I've used white spirit...
I've never found anything that will soften or remove it other than mechanically scraping once it's cured..
A little washing up liquid on the finger works well if you just need to neaten up a run without it sticking to your finger..
Andy.

11yrs, but many years a tugger.
Likewise, never had any problems, by cleaning the area with fine emery paper.

Since 2008 & many years tugging
I abraide both surfaces then wipe with meths and then pure alcohol, stuck the sat dish on with 292i the Sika primer for that is 35 quid so I took a chance not fallen off yet. I used 291i for my solar panels.
Don't use white spirit as it leaves an oily residue.

I'm a fan of Stixall - apparently it's what Vanbitz use
No primer required
Even sticks under water
