Not enough
looking to have a spring clean and get better organised in the garage department, does anyone use racking solutions to improve the storage. I have a lot of wasted space below the bed area and find myself emptying everything out get to the most basic of things such as table, chairs and the bbq.

there were some mentioned here a while back

Plastic drawer sets easily accessed and light weight

I'm toying with the idea of altering my garage storage a bit - last year I managed to get 3 x Ikea shoe storage cubbies from a car boot sale and have been thinking about how I could use them in the MH garage to reduce the need to have the 2 large plastic storage 'trunks/crates' I have, maybe one trunk and these 3 cubbies instead:

We don't have a traditional garage but a ski cupboard that i had to build a custom shelf system for spaced to hold specific items. and have to leave Ruth behind when we travel. (so have to be Ruthless).

I saw in Northern Scotland a UK registered motorhome (RHD as well) the summer before COVID hit with same (or similar) fitted. His was only two high though.
Whether he got it fitted in UK or on the Continent???

Some of the German racking systems are pretty smart, especially the ones that will slide out fully from either side (useful on the continent). Their prices may make your eyes smart, too.
It all makes me think that folk are carrying a bit too much "just in case". You can be pretty sure that whatever you need was never catered for (Sod's Law), so why bother trying?

I'm amazed that people manage to find enough rubbish to fill the garage to extent that they need stackable boxes;)
Know someone that has so much stuff you probably wouldn’t see the stackable boxes😂😂
Who could that be🤔🤔

I use fishing crates (the ones commercial fishermen use), theyre stackable, extremely sturdy and FREE! (they regularly washed up on the shores in Scotland so I started collecting some). Wish Id got more now!

Ideal for me would be sliding aluminium racking that accommodates four 64l really useful boxes and either three or four boxes tall… anyone seen anything suitable? Even some modular racking I could bolt together?

Wouldn't dare to show a photo of the mess in mine.:(
Me too! Complete mess and rammed to the rafters and it’s a relatively large garage. Although it is packed ready for a 1 week stay over Easter, so have an air awning, dog proof fencing, dog blankets, 2 chairs, bbq etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc………Thankfully the van is up-plated to 4850kg!

I have sussed out your problem ... You are carrying too much 'etc', surely one and a spare should be sufficient! 😄
